Golf Tracker is broken down into three sections. Play, Analyze and Improve.
Play
In the play section you capture detailed information on each hole in order to identify opportunities to improve your game and lower your scores. In just 4 or 5 taps per hole you will gather important information with minimal distraction. Enjoy your round of golf and analyze later. Play, Analyze and Improve!
Analyze
The analyze section will provide you with in depth information about your round. First you will see your averages for fairways, greens in regulation, putts, bogies or better scoring and your average score. These will be some of the key performance indicators that will help you lower your score and handicap. By tapping on your round you will see your KPI’s and also how many Eagles, Birdies, Pars, Bogies, Double Bogies and more than double bogies that you got during your round. They are all color coded in green if it is better than the expected KPI and orange if lower than the expected KPI. At a quick glance you can see your troubled areas that cost you strokes on that round. Below that you have the scorecard section that shows you which holes you did well on and the troubled holes. Tapping on Show Details will bring up the KPI indicators by hole so you can see which holes you were in the fairway or got a GIR and the number of putts. This is all valuable information to start focusing on where you are losing strokes on the course.
Also in this section you have Advanced Analytics that provide charts and graphs to analyze and compare how you are progressing. Using these charts you can track your progress and determine outcomes based on your fairway and greens in regulation scoring. You gain a wealth of knowledge from looking at your past rounds and improvements. Play, Analyze and Improve.
Improve
The next section is Improve. In this section you can compare your results to the results of a scratch and bogie golfer. This section will help you understand what are some of the areas that you need to improve and work on in practice. If you are putting better than the bogie golfer, but still scoring higher than maybe your fairway or around the green shots need improvement.
